How do I keep my desk chair from squeaking when rocking? I got a really nice leather office chair for my house, but within a few weeks, it started squeaking when rocking. This has happened to me with all my other desk chairs with the rocking function. The squeak seems to be coming from the spring that allows the chair to rock (the one you tighten or loosen, depending on how you like it), but the spring is entirely covered by the plastic knob used to tighten it. Since it's covered, I can't really get to it with WD40, even when using that straw thing it comes with. I'm not overloading the chair, since I only weigh 170 lbs, so I'm not quite sure what to do about the squeak. Any suggestions?

Desk chair with height adjustment keeps sinking. How do I correct this problem? I have an office desk chair. I release the lever on the right of the chair and it comes to full height. As time passes and it is occupied--the chair sinks (maybe an hour or so). Is there some seals that should be replaced or is there some liquid that should be replenished. There is no liquid leaking out of it nor is there any signs of liquid on the outside of the chair.

How can I make my desk chair recline more easily (be less stiff when reclining)? Ok, so every computer chair that reclines has a knob underneath it that adjusts the "reclining tension". How do I fix a noisy desk chair? It makes this grinding/crunching sound when you sit down or move. I have tried WD40 and lubricating grease, but it still does it. It's really annoying and loud.
